November News
November is a short but busy month for our students.
We have non-attendance days on November 4 and November 11
and conferences will be held on November 24 and 25 just
prior to the Thanksgiving break. Not all students/
parents will have conferences at this time.
Our unit of study for this month is "Night Time." While
we'll learn about nocturnal animals we will also read
about and discuss our night time routines---children
will receive a new book perfect for bedtime reading.
There is a definite nip in the air but we will continue
to use the playground at the end of day, weather permitting.
Please dress your child appropriately---and please label
all outdoor clothing. The students are doing a terrific
job of putting on their jackets by themselves. The next
step is learning how to zip! A tip to save time
while your child gets dressed before coming to school---
mittens/gloves go on LAST.
As always, we encourage you to come visit our classroom.
You may come for a short visit or spend the day with
your child. The children especially enjoy parent visits.
Please call Mrs. Rosinski to alert her/us of your
intentions. Hope to see some of you this month.
