Fifth grade students are learning how to multiply a two-digit number by a two-digit number using Lattice Multiplication.
One alternative way to the traditional method of multiplication is to use a lattice grid. A lattice grid offers an easy way to multiply multi-digit numbers.

Help your Child be Organized.

• Establish certain times each day for your child to take care of responsibilities.
  ( e.g., feeding the dog, completing homework, packing bookbag)

• Post a list of your child's responsibilities.
  (e.g,., 1. Take out the trash, 2. Feed the dog, 3. Pack bookbag)

• Provide your child with shelving, containers, organizers, for his/her possessions.

• Label the storage areas and require your child to keep his/her possessions together.
