Conferences are quickly approaching. Please keep in the mind the following things:
•Kindergarten conferences are 15 minutes each. We have a full schedule so please be on time.
•This is a Parent/Teacher Conference. Please do not bring your child with you to the conference.
•Please fill out the sheet that was sent home and have your child return it to school by Wednesday, November 19th.

Baby Brocks is expected to arrive around December 10th. I will continue to work until Baby Brocks arrives. During my maternity leave, Mrs. Verbeten will be taking my place. Welcome students and families! I am so excited to have all of you in my class this year. Our classes are off to a great start. We spent the first few weeks getting use to our routines and learning about each other. The students played games to help get to know each other. We have also been going over the classroom expectations. We often talk about making good choices and we remind the students that have control of their own behavior.
Our classes have begun our Jolly Phonics program and the kids are having a blast! Each sound has a story, action, and song to go with it. We practice our handwriting for each letter sound. Ask your child to share the sounds we have already done with you (s,a,t,i,p,n).
Our themes in September include Humpty Dumpty, The Three Little Pigs, Mrs. Wishy Washy and Johnny Appleseed.
